Nauvoo Exodus

A 165 years ago my ancestors left their homes and walked down Parley's Street and across the frozen Mississippi River to start their journey to the Salt Lake Valley. We had the opportunity to walk down this same street holding the flags of their country and remembed their sacrifice. Parley P Pratt, Parley P Pratt JR, Valate and Heber C Kimball where the ones I walked for. Very emotional day. I love them for their sacrifice and faith in their Lord, Jesus Christ.

Beautiful. The music was really nice too. I am so grateful for my pioneer heritage and the legacy my own parents have given me. I love you and am grateful for the great experiences you are having.
