See my ceramic bride's doll on the table. It was made by my mother's friend and she designed the dolls dress to match my wedding dress and viel. Does she look like me? Still have the doll, my bouquet, and also the cake top.

We saved our top layer of cake for a year and then I fed Gary a taste on our anniversary. I didn't want any.

P-Day Activity

We finally found a good Mexican restaurant 1.5 hours away in Quincy. Elder Peterson loved it. We also found a Sam's club and of course joined. Haven't been back since but am making my list.

Went to the Hayes Brothers Concert with the Hatches and Lords. Hayes Family own their own theater in
Branson, Mo. At the beginning, they honored the the military people and of course I made Elder Peterson stand up.

This is the old pioneer cemetery about 2 miles east of Nauvoo. It seems like quite a drive for them.

We had a good start but we have been busy. We took a trip to SL to have some dental work done and to attend Natalie's weddingn (Becky's oldest). It was a whirllwind trip as I spend 12 hr in the dental chair getting two root canals, losing one implant, having a bone graft, two cavities filled and a restored crown and a new crown. Yes, that was expensive with no insurance. Then off to get hair cut, Mac store for help on computer and then to Manti. We go back Sunday night after getting into St Louise in the afternoon finding our car battery dead. And then the navagator didn't work so I had to figure out how to get back to Nauvoo. We took the back roads and ran into a detour because the road was closed. Oh well, we did get back four hours later in time for the Young Ambassadors fireside.

Monday am at the temple, Elder Peterson had a problem with vision and I ended up taking him to the hospital for tests for mini stroke. But he had a powerful blessing from Elder Rogers,before we left the temple, and was promised that nothing was wrong and that he would be able to finish his mission. Turned out that they thought it was a migrane and couldn't do anything for him or find anything wrong. We are so thankful for the power of the Priesthood and that we are surrounded by so many wonderful men who hold that priesthood.

So now we are back to working our shift everyday and loving it. We cherish every moment of our mission. We are so thankful to be here and to know that everything is being taken care of at home and here.
